The pavilion at Villa Angélica Sports Club is an extensive roof that shelters changing rooms, toilets and a cafeteria.

It is built almost exclusively with reclaimed materials:
  • the structure is made from discarded pipes from the oil and gas industry
  • the roof plates are reused from a disassembled factory
  • the floor is made from defective ceramic tiles discarded by the producer

The building follows a strict constructive grid of 2.5m defined by the dimensions of the reclaimed materials to omptimize and simplify the construction.

Designed and built in collaboration with Architects Without Borders Norway.
